With over twenty-five years of experience and study in brand communictions, psychology and human connection, her heartbeat is to help people align their words with their God-given purpose.
Blending her extensive understanding of human dynamics with her prophetic teaching and deliverance mantle, Dr. Yashima serves as a confidantet to women and faith leaders navigating transitions. Who is Dr. Yashima
Dr. Yashima White is a preacher, speaker, communication strategist, and transformational voice whose work bridges faith, leadership, healing, and human connection.
A former print and television journalist turned award-winning communications executive and consultant, Dr. Yashima has spent more than two decades leading strategic communications, marketing, media, and organizational initiatives across the banking, healthcare, education, media, insurance, and nonprofit sectors. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual degree from the Wharton School and the Annenberg School for Communication, she was Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing a multimillion-dollar portfolio and national communication strategies by the age of 32.
Today, she serves as Chief of Staff for one of the nation’s largest charter school networks while also leading Magnate Consulting, a communications and leadership consulting firm serving executives, organizations, and cultural influencers.
Recognized for both her communication expertise and leadership impact, Dr. Yashima has been named among Radio Ink’s “Most Influential Women in Radio,” honored by the Philadelphia Tribune as one of the region’s “Women on the Move,” hosted a Radio One public affairs show in Washington, D.C., and featured in national media outlets including The New York Times and The Washington Post.
Yet beyond professional achievement, Dr. Yashima’s life journey has been shaped by seasons that deepened both her faith and her voice. Personal trials, health challenges, ministry leadership, motherhood, and experiences of profound transformation strengthened her belief that communication influences far more than careers - it shapes relationships, identity, purpose, and spiritual growth.
Answering her call to ministry at a young age, Dr. Yashima has become a trusted voice across both sacred and secular spaces. She currently serves as the Director of Women at Zion Cathedral and Assistant Supervisor in the Eastern New York Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. She is recognized for her ability to communicate with both spiritual depth and practical wisdom. Whether speaking to intimate gatherings or audiences of thousands, her messages challenge people to live authentically, communicate intentionally, and pursue healing, faith, and purpose with clarity and courage.
Dr. Yashima is also the founder of the TRIP Network, a growing global community of women committed to faith, transformation, mentorship, and purposeful living, and the visionary behind She Walked It Out, a breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative inspired by her journey of resilience and hope. She’s also a co-author of “The Making of a Successful Business Woman,” an Amazon best-selling book.
